This compact remote control features a high-quality joystick that allows for one-handed zoom and pan/tilt adjustments on compatible Sony mobile cameras. Zoom can also be controlled remotely using the joystick or an additional zoom rocker switch; dedicated buttons and control keys provide direct and easy access to frequently used camera functions.

The RM-IP500 remote control simplifies and streamlines multi-camera content creation systems for a wide variety of applications: from live events to conference rooms, broadcast studios, education, or places of worship.

The panning speed can be adjusted (from slow to fast) for a more polished, professional-quality result. Up to 100* combinations of angles and settings can be saved as presets. The Trace Memory* function allows you to save and recall a sequence of camera movements on demand.

Up to 100 Sony remote gimbal cameras (BRC or SRG series) can be controlled over a standard IP network. Installation is very simple: the remote control automatically assigns IP addresses to the Sony gimbal cameras connected to the network and assigns a number to each one.

The following Sony remote mobile camera models are fully compatible: BRC-X1000, BRC-H900, BRC-H800 and SRG-360SHE.

The RM-IP500 remote control is a perfect partner for Sony’s MCX-500 multi-camera Live Producer system, which offers a complete SD recording solution with IP streaming for a wide range of content production applications.

High-quality control of PTZ functions

It’s very easy to create professional-quality productions by adjusting the pan/tilt parameters using the joystick and controlling the zoom via the joystick or a separate toggle switch. Motion control (PTZ) allows for smooth and precise movements.

Up to five RM-IP500 remote control panels can be used on a single network. This allows multiple operators to simultaneously control a large-scale multi-camera system.

Intelligent DEPA Advanced Video and Audio Analysis

This analysis allows you to analyze images to detect any movement of predefined objects. If movement is detected, an alarm is triggered. Users can create a number of rules that determine when and how this occurs.
Contact, normal tally, and tally recording modes are included.

Camera Paint Function Settings

Color settings (black levels, white balance, anti-flicker function, level of detail, elbow point, auto exposure level, aperture control, gain and shutter speed) can be set directly without having to use the camera menus.

Compatible with the VISCA protocol

The RM-IP500 remote control can also control up to seven*** compatible SRG or BRC cameras over an RS-422 interface.
