Introducing the OBSBOT Tail 2 Podcast Pack
A turnkey multicam solution
The OBSBOT Tail 2 Podcast Pack was designed by TRM to produce and distribute professional-quality video podcasts with a controlled budget and quick setup. It includes three OBSBOT Tail 2 cameras (each equipped with a 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO microSD card), a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro switcher, a SWIT K15 15″ monitor for multiview, an OBSBOT Smart Remote for controlling the cameras remotely, and a Hollyland Lark Max 2 Ultimate Combo audio kit for easily capturing two voices.
Each camera can operate on battery power for approximately 2 hours (with recording) and approximately 5 hours (streaming), or be powered via USB-C (5V2A to USB-PD 3.0 up to 20V2A). A 2530W USB-C PD is recommended to stabilize power and charging during movement, HDMI output, and recording. Video signals from all three cameras are sent via HDMI to theATEM Mini Pro, which outputs either via RJ45or via USB-C connected to a computer. When streaming via RJ45, the USB-C port can be dedicated to recordingthe program to an external hard drive (not included). The SWIT K15 displays a 15-inch multiview monitor for on-set control.
The sound is captured by the Hollyland Lark Max 2 Ultimate Combo : two transmitters (microphones) and one receiver mounted on the wide-angle camera, which sends the audio to the mixer via HDMI for robust synchronization. Remote monitoring is facilitated by the wireless earpieces included with the Lark Max 2 system.
The OBSBOT Smart Remote controls all three Tail 2 lenses via Bluetooth, activates AI tracking to keep everyone in the frame, and speeds up framing adjustments. The Tail 2’s versatile focal lengths allow you to cover a wide shot and two -ups without changing lenses, for a dynamic and consistent result.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the recommended broadcasting solution with the ATEM Mini Pro?

In practice: 2 hours with recording enabled, and 5 hours in streaming mode only. For longer sessions, use a 2530 W USB-C PD power supply or a PD-compatible power bank.
4. How are the cameras controlled?
With the OBSBOT Smart Remote (Bluetooth control, AI tracking) or via the OBSBOT WebUI for more advanced settings.
5. Is it possible to record while broadcasting?
