Introducing the Canon PZ-E2

The Canon PZ-E2 is a zoom motor adapter for the RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z lens, enabling smooth and precise zoom control while offering the flexibility of remote operation for more professional results. Canon’s optional motorized zoom provides filmmakers with enhanced control.

This zoom motor adapter is lightweight and ergonomic. It fits perfectly in the hand when attached to the lens and is equally versatile when the lens is mounted on a rig or attached to a tripod or gimbal. A zoom speed dial provides enhanced control.

The camera and zoom can be controlled remotely using the Camera Connect or EOS Utility apps, or via the browser remote control on compatible devices. Remote control over an IP network is also possible on supported devices using Canon’s IP protocol for multi-device workflows.

The Canon PZ-E2 is designed for practical use, allowing zoom operations to be assigned to custom buttons on compatible devices, and also allowing connection of an external USB-C power supply for extended shooting time and increased speed for zooming on faster-moving subjects.
