The Sigma 65mm T1.5 FF (Sony E) is a high-speed prime full-frame cinema lens compatible with large-format digital cinema cameras. It covers the full frame, offers a natural image appearance, 6K to 8K resolution, and a bright T1.5 aperture. All this in a compact and lightweight form factor. It features foot markings.
Its 95mm front diameter and similar physical attributes across the entire lens range facilitate and accelerate the mounting of lens accessories such as matte boxes, follow focus and lens control motors.
It incorporates a 9-blade iris that creates pleasing blurred bokeh effects. Its sophisticated optical design minimizes ghosting and flare. Color reproduction, high resolution, and distortion correction are standardized to facilitate color correction and matching across the entire Art series.
Each lens in the range offers consistent lens gear positions and 180° focusing barrel rotation.
The lenses in this range also feature a clickless iris with linear markings, dampers on each gear ring for quiet operation and a standard 0.8 MOD gear pitch.
