Introducing the Laowa 50mm T2.4 Nanomorph (PL-EF, Blue)

The Laowa 50mm T2.4 Nanomorph (PL-EF, Blue) is a slim and compact anamorphic lens that captures high-definition video with 1.5x anamorphic compression on devices with Super 35mm sensors. It can be mounted on a variety of handheld/stabilized setups and even on a drone. It features very low focus breathing and an aperture range of T2.4 to T22. It has a minimum focusing distance of 27.5 inches and offers high contrast and a 42° horizontal field of view. Its constant 1.5x compression ratio strikes a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity. With a 1.5x compression ratio, you’ll get a 2.66:1 aspect ratio on a 16:9 sensor after decompression. You also have the option to crop to a 2.4:1 widescreen format.

The Laowa Nanomorph lens is available in 8 mounts. Sony E, Canon RF, and PL mounts are available on our website. Fuji X, Nikon Z, L, MFT, and DL mounts are available upon request.

The lens comes with an interchangeable PL mount and EF mount.
