Description

The ARRI LPL-type mount, specially designed for the Sony Venice, allows the use of ARRI Prime Signature LPL lenses with the camera and direct connection of lens pogos. According to ARRI, the first quarter of 2019 will bring an update to the Prime Signature lenses that will enable Cooke/i data output. At that time, the Sony Venice will be able to read metadata via our pogo interface. The included LPL cap prevents dust from entering the sensor area when the lens is not attached.

You simply need to adjust the shims if your camera is miscalibrated. The adapter can be connected by loosening the six screws, separating the two sections, and adding shims of different colors and thicknesses. The rear focus should be checked using collimation tools or a wide-angle lens focused at infinity.

The ARRI LPL to PL adapter is also compatible, allowing for easy conversion from standard PL lenses to LPL lenses. The LPL mount is passive and does not transmit lens data to the camera. The camera is not included.
