The Sigma 40mm T1.5 FF for Canon EF mount is a premium cine prime lens for full-frame cameras. Compact and lightweight, it offers a 40mm focal length, full sensor coverage, 6-8K resolution, and a T1.5 aperture. It is also available in PL and Sony E mounts. Its common 95mm front diameter and similar physical attributes across the lens line facilitate and expedite the mounting of accessories such as matte boxes, follow focus systems , and lens control motors.
The Sigma 40mm T1.5 FF incorporates a 9-blade diaphragm for beautiful bokeh. Flare and ghosting have been minimized. Color reproduction is standardized to facilitate color correction. Each lens in the range offers consistent lens positions and 180° barrel rotation.
To relieve stress on your camera’s lens mount, a dust- and water-resistant support foot is integrated into the lens. If you wish to adapt your FF High-Speed Prime lens to another camera, you can convert the Canon EF and Sony E mount versions through an authorized Sigma service center (not available for PL mounts).
