The Renegade and Renegade XL batteries are the culmination of years of research and development aimed at providing high-capacity, high-current lithium-based power solutions with incredible versatility for the film and lighting industries.

The Core SWX Renegade XL 48 (1376 Wh) is a 1376 Wh lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery in an aluminum casing. It features two 48V outputs. The internal charger can recharge the Renegade XL from a fully discharged state in under 5 hours. With the available (but not included) SFQ40 charger, the Renegade XL can be recharged in under 2 hours.

The Renegade XL 48’s new OLED display provides the same range information as the Renegade and Maverick, but it also offers additional battery status information. The Renegade XL is further enhanced by two PTAP ports and a USB port that can power mobile devices and also serve as a firmware update port. One of the PTAP ports also supports Voltbridge Mesh, enabling cloud-based battery management.
