Portability
The VL-2 offers a compact size (1.5 kg) with a well-designed carrying handle.
V-Mount:
The V-Mount battery mounting system is becoming increasingly common on professional camcorders. IDX has therefore adapted the design of its batteries and chargers to the V-Mount design.
Status indicator
An LED status indicator allows you to quickly view the charge status of each battery.
Universal power supply
A standard Canon 4-pin type connector is located on the front panel for a 60 watt DC power supply.
As with all IDX chargers, the VL-2’s power button is recessed to prevent accidental power loss. A universal auto-switching power supply (AC 100-240V) is included as standard.
