The Blackmagic HDMI to SDI 6G Mini Converter includes everything you need to convert an analog HD/SD component video, NTSC and PAL video output, and balanced analog/AES audio output. Easily connect to Betacam SP, VHS, and video monitors.

Blackmagic converters are the world’s most advanced converters because they incorporate the latest 6G-SDI technology. They automatically detect the input video format and instantly convert from virtually all SD, HD, and Ultra HD video standards up to 2160p30.
You get advanced features such as redundant SDI inputs, time-stamped loop outputs, instant HDMI locking, 33-point LUT support, and full analog and AES/EBU audio connections for converting video and embedding or de-embedding audio.

The Mini SDI to HDMI 6G Converter lets you convert SDI to HDMI in SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats while downsampling audio to HDMI, AES/EBU, or balanced analog audio. You also get advanced features such as downscaling for Ultra HD monitoring on HDMI HD monitors, as well as built-in 3D LUTs and HDMI Instant Lock for instant video display when an SDI input is connected. The new Mini SDI to HDMI 6G and Mini HDMI to SDI 6G Converter models allow you to convert SDI to HDMI or HDMI to SDI in all formats up to 2160p30 at an even more affordable price. The Mini SDI to HDMI 6G model is also significantly more powerful with HDMI Instant Lock, 33-point 3D LUT support, and Ultra HD to HD conversion. HDMI Instant Lock can lock onto a new signal in as little as one frame, so you get seamless switching when moving from one source with the same video format to another. New 33-point 3D LUT support lets you apply custom looks in real time using high-quality lookup tables. Plus, you still get the same powerful Mini Converter features, such as independent balanced analog audio connections and AES/EBU, and
HDMI Instant Lock.

Get instant image lock when using HDMI TVs

HDMI TVs and projectors can take a long time to lock onto a signal when a new source is connected. Instant HDMI locking on the 6G Mini SDI to HDMI Converter solves this problem by continuously sending an active HDMI signal to the display. When you switch to a new source with the same format as the previous signal, it locks for as little as one frame, resulting in a clean, noise-free switchover.

Supports 33 3D LUT points

It also includes a full 33-point 3D lookup table for high-precision color conversions. This means you can apply custom look, color, and gamma changes in real time for set monitoring. The LUTs can also be used with the SDI loop output, turning the converter into a 3D LUT processor! The LUTs are compatible with DaVinci Resolve, allowing you to achieve consistent color across the set and in post-production.
