Description

The HDP3 is a miniature 3G-SDI to DVI-D converter for digital displays such as LCD, DLP, and Plasma monitors and projectors. Utilizing high-quality scaling and deinterlacing electronics, the HDP3 processes 3G-SDI signals up to 1080p60. The HDP3 adapts the input frame rate to be compatible with the monitor. Because it responds to the EDID (Electronic Display Identification Data) of the monitor or projector, it can automatically determine the optimal output format and scaling parameters. A 1:1 pixel scaling setting can also be selected. The HDP3 provides user-addressable 2-channel analog audio monitoring, 2 to 8 channels of embedded 24-bit audio (only via a DVI-D to HDMI adapter), plus a probe output of the incoming SDI that carries 8 channels of embedded audio.
