The Fujifilm XF 80mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro is a 122mm equivalent telephoto lens designed for X-mount mirrorless cameras. The long focal length combined with the F2.8 maximum aperture is well-suited for isolating subjects, especially when paired with the short 25cm minimum focusing distance. Its 1:1 magnification in actual size is ideal for macro photography. The focusing system benefits from -up work by utilizing two separate focusing groups to maintain image quality across the entire focus range, and a linear motor ensures fast and quiet autofocus performance. Optically, it incorporates one aspherical element and four low-dispersion elements to produce sharp, clear images free from chromatic and spherical aberrations. A Super EBC coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting when working in bright and backlit conditions. In addition, it is weatherproof and also has a fluorine coating on the front element to protect against moisture, stains and dust.
