The KipperTie Risa R-XL (V-Raptor XL) is a top plate specifically designed for the RED V-Raptor XL. It features a high-quality passive pass-through for the top data pins. This capability makes the Risa R-XL the only solution fully compatible with RED’s original grips and monitor mount. All precision gold-plated pogo pins are pre-connected to ensure compatibility with future accessories using the same port.

It incorporates a multitude of 1/4-20 mounting holes, spaced according to industry standards (9mm) and the specific requirements of the RED DSMC3 system (10mm). Arri-style 3/8-16 mounts are also present on several surfaces for robust mounting of heavier accessories.

This plate respects the camera’s cooling system by leaving this space completely clear, as do the body-mounted D-Tap ports and wireless antennas.

The mounting hardware consists of captive 1/4-20 stainless steel screws for maximum strength, while aerospace-grade anodized aluminum is used for rigidity and lightness.
