The FS-Mini is available and offers high-quality frame synchronization in a portable and rugged product. This compact mini-converter allows users to synchronize and convert a wide range of video formats according to their internal standards, with 3G-SDI input and output, simultaneous HDMI output, and 2-channel RCA audio output.

Simplified functional diagram

The FS-Mini is designed to meet the demands of broadcast engineering and live event production, while offering incredible flexibility. It receives a signal without delay, synchronizes it frame by frame, processes it, and automatically routes it to the SDI output for production use and the HDMI output for monitoring. The user selects the two audio channels that are routed to the RCA audio monitor outputs.

USB support and mini configuration

AJA’s free Mini-Config software can be used with any USB-compatible AJA mini-converter and provides a user-friendly graphical interface with detailed information on current input and output formats. Control all settings on all supported AJA mini-converters, as well as load firmware updates from AJA that add new features.

Compact and portable

AJA mini converters are small enough to fit behind a monitor, on the back of a rack, or directly on a camera platform. A locking power connector prevents accidental disconnection, and an optional P-TAP power cable allows for battery charging in remote locations.
