Description

The AJA HA5-Fiber mini converter converts an HDMI input to 3G-SDI over a 1310 nm single-mode fiber optic cable (ST-type connector) for transmitting HDMI sources over fiber. Its compact size allows this mini converter to be easily mounted on the back of a camera or behind a rack.

The fiber output supports embedded 8-channel audio, enabling a single-cable audio/video connection up to 10 km. The HA5-Fibre also provides 2-channel RCA audio inputs for stereo audio input when needed.

Compact and Portable

The AJA Mini-Converters are small enough to be mounted behind a monitor, on the back of a rack, or directly onto a camera rig. The power connector screws in with a quarter turn, preventing power loss during use. An optional P-TAP cable allows the Minis to be powered by battery in mobile situations.
