Connecting a mini ROI converter via USB to a computer allows the use of Mini-Config software, which offers the possibility to interactively select a region of interest from the original signal and to have total control over the output scaling or resolution using high-quality AJA resizing algorithms in order to obtain an image with the best possible quality.

Conversion

Take complete control of image format and frame rate conversion with Mini-Config’s on-screen controls, which show you exactly what your source and output will look like, as well as the formats that appear and are output. Simple menu commands let you quickly choose the right output for every situation.

Connectivity

The ROI mini frequency converter uses a direct connection, allowing it to maintain a connection to an external monitor while preserving the SDI output after conversion or scaling. The reference input allows the SDI output signal to be locked when used within a control room or production infrastructure.

Audio

The ROI Aja accepts two audio channels from the 3.5 mm analog audio input or the embedded 8-channel audio from an HDMI input. The audio source and routing can be selected in the Mini-Config software and are embedded in the SDI output. This allows computer audio to be integrated into the SDI signal for easy and optimal synchronization.

Compact and Portable

The AJA Mini-Converters are small enough to fit behind a monitor, in a tech rack, or on a camera rig. A locking power connector prevents accidental disconnection, and an optional P-TAP power cable enables battery power for mobile use.

Universal power supply included

All AJA Mini-Converters come with a power supply including international connector plugs for worldwide use.
