Description

The ARRI LPL mount for RED DSMC2 cameras allows ARRI Signature Premium LPL lenses to be used with the BRAIN camera body with a VistaVision-sized full-frame sensor (DSMC2 MONSTRO). The ARRI LPL to PL adapter is also compatible, making it easy to switch between standard PL and LPL lenses. An external LDS-2 port is present but not currently used. Once external LDS-2 metadata workflows are established, this port can be connected to a metadata recorder.

The ARRI LPL mount for the new RED DSMC2 series is also compatible with standard-sized RED cameras, such as the DSMC2 HELIUM, DSMC2 GEMINI, DSMC2 DRAGON-X, WEAPON HELIUM, EPIC-W HELIUM, EPIC-W GEMINI, SCARLET-W, and RED RAVEN. It is also compatible with previous version DSMC cameras like the EPIC DRAGON, SCARLET DRAGON, SCARLET MYSTERIUM-X, etc. No camera is included with the mount.
