The Blackmagic Design Studio Converter is a converter that allows you to connect all camera signals using a single Ethernet IP Link connection. This means that the camera feed, return program feed, timecode, reference, tally, talkback, and control signals are all sent over the same cable. It offers the same advantages as SMPTE fiber, but with standard 10G copper Ethernet cable at a much lower cost. The Blackmagic Studio Converter allows you to break all video, audio, and talkback connections at the studio end. It also includes a power supply that powers the camera via the Ethernet cable.
