Description

FiDO is a range of SDI/Fiber Optic converters. FiDO allows the transmission of SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G SDI signals over distances of up to 10 km using single-mode fiber optic cable with LC connectors. FiDO converters comply with all SMPTE standards and are built on a robust, versatile platform, perfectly suited for both studio and field use.

With five different models, FiDO offers unprecedented flexibility at a particularly attractive price. FiDO’s dual-channel models allow for the conversion of two channels, perfect for 3D, dual-channel SDI, or for two completely independent SDI channels (for example, SD, HD, and 3G can be mixed in any combination). Furthermore, FiDO converters offer electrical isolation to eliminate any feedback loop issues.

FiDO converters come in a compact, low-profile package for use in confined spaces, around and behind rack-mounted equipment, OB vans, and complex installations.
