The Canon CN8x15 IAS S P1 is a cinema lens compatible with Super 35 cameras, offering a remarkable focal length range in a compact and relatively lightweight body. Ideal for film and television production, it provides a highly versatile focal range extending from wide-angle (15mm) to telephoto (120mm). Its built-in 1.5x teleconverter even allows you to extend the telephoto focal length to 180mm.
It benefits from Canon’s expertise in color science and is therefore perfectly aligned with the performance levels of the current Canon Cinema lens range. It features an 11-blade iris that ensures smooth and aesthetically pleasing bokeh. Its optical performance is particularly high, delivering stunning image quality in 4K and 8K HDR productions.
It is the first Cine-Servo lens to allow XD (ZEISS eXtended Data) data exchange. It is equipped with a powerful removable servo motor that ensures excellent ergonomics and very smooth operation for filmmakers who prefer handheld shooting in ENG/EFP and documentary filmmaking.
