Introducing the Canon RC-IP100
The Canon RC-IP100 is a control unit for Canon CR-N300 and CR-N500 PTZ cameras. It allows a single operator to remotely control up to 100 cameras. It features a 7-inch touchscreen for controlling camera configuration and settings.
The IP100 is compatible with Canon’s proprietary XC IP protocol, not a standard LAN, so you can create a private and secure network to control your cameras using the LAN port. It also features a second RJ45 port that allows you to control cameras via the RS-422 serial protocol. The bright 7″ touchscreen lets you control and configure up to 100 cameras and can create and store up to 100 presets.
The precision joystick accurately controls pan and tilt movements. A zoom rocker is also located on the opposite side of the control panel, providing an ergonomic layout for simultaneous two-handed control of pan, tilt, and zoom. Four buttons and knobs provide quick and easy access to settings and controls. The DB-9 input/output port on the rear panel allows you to monitor camera tally information. The unit is powered by a 12V AC adapter.
