Introducing the Sony RM-30BP remote control

The Sony RM-30BP is the first multi-function remote control designed for use in image creation. Ideal for independent filmmakers and low-budget productions, this remote can be handheld, placed on a table, or mounted on a tripod.

The Sony RM-30BP can control most of a camera’s functions:

Lens control: one-touch autofocus/manual focus, aperture and zoom control
Camera control: recording/playback functions, shutter speed, white balanceincluding six assignable buttons
Playback and multi-camera control (up to 3 cameras)

The Sony RM-30BP can also be connected to the MCX-500 production switcher for direct multi-camera control. It is also compatible with the HXR-NX5R and PXW-FS7 v4.0, and compatibility with other Sony cameras is planned.
