Core SWX HLX-2HV-DC (V-Mount) is a set of two Helix Direct Connect mounting plates that allow you to use Apex high-voltage batteries on the Aputure 600 light with Core’s Helix series of battery packs. These plates require minimal technical skill to connect and allow you to still use all your existing 14V V-mount packs.To swap the plates on your Aputure, unscrew your existing V-mount plates, cut the wiring from the existing plates and connection blocks, attach the Core Direct plates to the existing wiring, and screw the Apex Direct Connect plate back on. This modification is only necessary to take advantage of the high-voltage efficiency of the Apex HV packs. Standard Apx360v packs will work without any modifications to the lighting ballast.
