Introducing the Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z

The Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z is a lens for both stills and video, and it’s the first of its kind at this focal length and aperture. Thanks to the use of two Nano USM motors, this lens delivers fast and virtually silent autofocus. The constant F/2.8 aperture optimizes low-light performance and produces flattering bokeh for portraits, regardless of the focal length. The lens’s built-in optical image stabilization provides 5.5 stops of correction, or 8 stops with coordinated IS when paired with a compatible camera.

Four ultra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements contribute to sharper images and reduced chromatic and spherical aberrations. In addition, the RF 24-105mm f/2.8 benefits from Super Spectra, Air Sphere, and Fluorine coatings, which work together to minimize ghosting and flare caused by reflections from the lens surface.

Two Canon Nano USM autofocus motors enable smooth and responsive focusing of the RF 24-105mm F2.8. Full manual focus is also available. Eleven aperture blades make out-of-focus areas in your frame more pleasing to the eye.

Thanks to its constant f/2.8 aperture, the RF 24-105mm excels even in challenging lighting conditions, making it an excellent choice for weddings, events, and photojournalism. While many comparable lenses are limited to 70mm, this lens’s ability to extend to 105mm gives users the advantage of longer focal lengths for portraits.
