The most effective and exciting way to simulate the anamorphic streak effect with virtually any lens, anamorphic or otherwise, is by using a SCHNEIDER 68-500456 filter. Brilliantly colored streaks propagate vivid highlights and exceptional reflections. This filter is the most subtle, with a 4mm spacing between streaks.
This filter is available in four thicknesses: 1 mm (the strongest), 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm (the most discreet); and in eight colors: blue, red, yellow, orange, green, purple and pink as well as transparent.
