Introducing the Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 R WR

The Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 R WR is a prime lens with an X-mount, ideal for portraits. Praised for its bright F1.2 maximum aperture, excellent subject isolation, and color rendition, this new version offers an optimized optical formula with the addition of aspherical elements to the focusing group, a minimum focusing distance of just 0.5m, and an 11-blade rounded diaphragm for improved bokeh.

Its sophisticated optical design utilizes both aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements, which help reduce a variety of aberrations, color fringing, and distortion to achieve high sharpness and clarity. A Super EBC coating is also used to reduce reflections and ghosting to improve contrast and color accuracy in both bright and backlit conditions.

In addition, it is now Water Resistant, meaning it resists water droplets and dust thanks to the integration of 9 rubber seals.

Finally, the front element benefits from a fluorine coating to combat water droplets, fingerprints or other marks.
