Introducing the IDX SB-U50 PD:
The new battery in the SB-U-PD series is the latest version of the popular SB-U series. The IDX SB-U50 PD is a lithium-ion battery compatible with Sony BP-U mount cameras, such as the PXW-FX9/6, FS7/FS5, and PXW/PMW series cameras. The new SB-U-PD series improves the accuracy of the remaining battery level indicator on Sony camera viewfinders. The battery features a 14.4V D-Tap output and a USB Type-C PD input/output, allowing for charging with an optional charger. A four-LED gauge indicates the battery’s charge status. The battery’s internal circuitry provides protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and high charging current.
