Introducing the Nikon D780
The Nikon D780 is a versatile digital SLR camera that excels in both stills and video. It stands out thanks to its innovative dual AF system, which integrates a fast AF system dedicated to Live View shooting (273-point ultra-precise AF, combining the sensor’s phase-detection points and a contrast-detection system for fast performance and excellent subject tracking, including support for Eye-Detection AF) and a fast phase-detection AF system for viewfinder shooting (51-point AF). It incorporates a 24.5-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with a BSI design for increased clarity and reduced noise levels, allowing it to adapt to a variety of lighting conditions. This sensor also enables a wide ISO range of 100 to 51,200, which can be expanded to 50 to 204,800. The Nikon D780 boasts a fast shooting speed of 7 fps with the viewfinder or 12 fps in Live View. For video, the DSLR allows 4K UHD video recording at up to 30 fps using full-frame or cropped areas. Full HD recording at up to 120 fps is also available, along with built-in N-Log Gamma and HLG settings for refined color control.
