Introducing the Nikon Z6 II
The Nikon Z6 II is an updated version of the Nikon Z6 that offers greater speed, versatility, and performance. Despite the numerous upgrades, the Z6 II retains its compact form factor and acclaimed image quality, making it ideal for multimedia image creators.
Combining a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor with two EXPEED 6 image processors, the Z6 II features increased buffer depth and a faster continuous shooting rate of up to 14fps with single-point AF or 12fps in other focus modes. 4K UHD 30p video recording is possible, or up to FHD 120p for slow-motion output, and external recording gains 10-bit support for N-Log and HLG (HDR). The sensor is also well-suited to working in a variety of lighting conditions, with an ISO range of 100 to 51200, and 5-axis in-body vibration reduction minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. In addition, the sensor also incorporates a 273-point phase-detection AF system, which now supports Eye-Detect autofocus in Wide-Area AF modes and during video recording, and enables low-light focusing down to -4.5 EV.
The Z6 II offers more flexible storage thanks to its two memory card slots (CF Express Type B / UHS-II SD). With its high-resolution 3.6MP OLED electronic viewfinder and 3.2-inch 2.1MP tilting LCD rear screen, it maintains its versatility for image composition and playback. Finally, SnapBridge can be used for remote camera control, image sharing with a mobile device, and over-the-air firmware updates.
