Introducing the Canon RC-IP1000
The Canon RC-IP1000 is a control unit that allows you to control Canon PTZ cameras via IP or other commands. It enables a single operator to remotely control up to 200 cameras. It features a 7-inch touchscreen for controlling camera configuration and settings. This screen also allows you to view up to nine cameras simultaneously.
The control panel is compatible with Canon’s proprietary XC IP protocol. This allows you to create a private and secure network to control your cameras using the LAN port. The RC-IP1000 also features a second RJ45 port, enabling you to control cameras via the RS-422 serial protocol. The unit supports video input and output up to 4K60 via the 12G-SDI ports and also supports HDMI output for sending video to switchers or additional displays. This control panel also includes a tally for sending information between the controller and the cameras.
In terms of ergonomics, the RC IP1000 incorporates numerous buttons, dials, LEDs, as well as a joystick and a zoom rocker. Thanks to these many controls, you can quickly and easily access settings and functions.
Finally, this console is powered using a mains adapter or via PoE+.
