The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is the fastest full-frame mirrorless camera in Canon’s EOS R series. It introduces impressive technological innovations such as 40 frames per second image capture , ultra-fast high-sensitivity autofocus , and 6K RAW/4K UHD video recording . Designed for enthusiasts and content creators, the R6 II leverages the performance of the RF mount to amplify the quality and efficiency already established by its predecessor, the R6. With its breathtaking speed, stability, and professional video capabilities, it delivers exceptional performance in both stills and video.

It combines a 24.2MP full-frame sensor and a DIGIC X processor to ensure exceptional image quality. It offers ISO sensitivity up to 102,400 for outstanding low-light performance. It features in-body image stabilization with up to 8 stops of stabilization, allowing for handheld shooting. Its autofocus utilizes the latest Deep Learning AI technology to automatically track all types of subjects (people, animals, airplanes, trains, and other vehicles, in both photos and videos). With the new eye detection system, users can now also specify which eye should be prioritized for focus.

Its burst shooting speed of 40fps with the electronic shutter and 12fps with the mechanical shutter allows you to capture action scenes as they happen. For video, it records in 4K UHD 60p without cropping. The 4K videos are generated by oversampling the sensor’s 6K output to guarantee superb image quality. It can also produce 6K RAW via its HDMI output, which can be recorded to an Atomos Ninja V+ recorder in ProRes RAW.

Finally, this version 2 of the R6 now offers improved recording time with over 40 minutes of oversampled 4K60p video or up to 6 hours in 4K30p, depending on ambient temperature, available space on your memory card and battery life.
