Introducing the Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2
The Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 is a 3-in-1 camera ideal for broadcast production, live studio work, and digital cinema. Like its predecessor, it records in 4K UHD but now incorporates Generation 5 color science and can be used as a 6K Super 35mm digital camera that records in Blackmagic RAW format.
The lens mount is compatible with 2/3 B4 lenses, but it also includes an EF mount adapter, allowing it to work with the wide range of Canon EF lenses.
The camera allows you to apply 3D LUTs for cinematic looks and features built-in ND filters, 12G-SDI input and output, and two XLR inputs for audio capture. It can record in ProRes 422 and Blackmagic RAW to CFast 2.0 or SD UHS-II cards.
Robust and lightweight, the URSA Broadcast G2 benefits from a magnesium design to allow you to work in any environment.
For power, you can use the included 12VDC power adapter or the pre-installed V-Lock plate to use high-capacity professional V-Mount batteries. The URSA Mini shoulder pad, URSA Mini top grip, viewfinder mounting plate, and all necessary mounting hardware and lens caps are also included.
