Introducing the Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9 (Fujifilm X)

The Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9 (Fujifilm X) is a lightweight, cinema-style zoom lens for X-mount cameras with a Super 35mm sensor. It features a mechanical design with three independent lens control rings: focus, iris, and zoom. Each ring incorporates cinema-style gearing with a MOD 0.8 for interfacing with standard cinema-style lens accessories. The focus ring offers approximately 200° of rotation for high precision, and the iris is clickless for smooth operation.

The lens also incorporates a macro mode for -up focusing capabilities. The 85mm front end allows for use with many cinema-style matte boxes via optional riser rings (rings not included). The lens weighs only 980g, which is relatively light for a cinema zoom that maintains focus and aperture throughout the entire zoom range.

MK lenses boast advanced optical performance and low distortion across the entire frame. Their colorimetry is harmonized with that of other FUJINON CINEMA lenses in the HK/ZK/XK series to simplify calibration when using multiple different lenses.
