Introducing the Panasonic Lumix DC-S9 (Black)
The Panasonic Lumix DC-S9 (Black), like the S5II, is a camera equipped with a full-frame CMOS sensor of approximately 24 million pixels, combined with a powerful processor that allows for the capture of rich, detailed and natural images.
It offers a simple and ultra-fast shooting, making it easy to go from capturing to sharing your images worldwide efficiently and intuitively. Its phase-detection autofocus ensures excellent subject tracking, while Active IS combined with dual in-body image stabilization guarantees sharp, steady images, even when shooting handheld.
Thanks to the REAL TIME LUT, accessible via a new « LUT » button on the camera body, the Lumix S9 offers a wide variety of customizable styles. The new LUMIX Lab app allows creators to easily develop their own LUT files on their smartphone and apply them directly to their shots, simplifying the creation and sharing process without requiring post-production on a computer, and with high-speed transfer between the camera and smartphone.
Panasonic’s S9 also introduces a new recording format, MP4 Lite. By recording in Open Gate at 4:2:0 10-bit in 30p/25p, creators can capture high-quality videos in this open format that utilizes the entire sensor, and easily resize their footage via the LUMIX Lab app to fit different formats, such as smartphone formats for social media.
