Introducing the Panasonic Lumix GH5 II

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 II is the worthy successor to the famous GH5, offering a new sensor, a new processor, expanded video capabilities, vastly improved Dual Stabilization and Autofocus, as well as Live Streaming.

A true creative tool, the GH5 II incorporates a new 20.3MP Live MOS sensor with AR coating. It is therefore capable of recording in C4K/4K 60p 4:2:0 10bit and 30p 4:2:2 10bit All-Intra 400Mbps without cropping, with no limits.

The GH5 II offers unlimited video recording and has the V-Log L profile pre-installed for multi-camera recording, making it easy to match the color tone with footage recorded by other cameras in the VariCam series.

In terms of battery life, the included DMW-BLK22 battery provides approximately 410 shots per charge. It can be quickly charged using the included USB 3.1 Type-C cable. You can also provide continuous power to the camera while shooting photos and videos via the included USB cable.

A rear 3 1.84MP TFT LCD monitor offers flexible framing, high visibility and vivid colors to support viewing from different angles.

The GH5 II also benefits from a major upgrade to its 5-axis in-body image stabilization system. This update enables compatibility with Lumix OIS lenses, activating Dual IS 2 for effective image shake correction. Previously limited to 5 stops, this now means you can compensate for up to 6.5 stops of shutter speed.

An autofocus system with depth-of-field preview benefits both photo and video recording modes, ensuring fast and accurate focusing. The GH5 II can recognize human faces, eyes, heads, bodies, and animals. Deep Learning technology detects eyes and faces approximately twice as fast as the GH5, allowing you to focus on composing your photos and videos.

Designed for today’s creators and audiences, the easy-to-use Lumix Sync app for smartphones and tablets offers high-quality live streaming with minimal equipment. Live streaming via a router is also available with Lumix Network Setting Software.
