Compact and weather-sealed, it boasts a very short minimum focusing distance of 0.15m and a 0.43x magnification. Its optical design incorporates a series of high-refractive-refractive-light lenses and low-dispersion elements to control a variety of aberrations and achieve a high degree of clarity and sharpness. A fluorine coating has been applied to the front element to protect it from water splashes and make it easier to clean. Furthermore, an integrated stepping motor ensures fast, precise, and virtually silent autofocus performance.
