The Panasonic Lumix S 35mm F1.8 is a compact and bright wide-angle prime lens. Its 9-blade circular aperture delivers beautiful bokeh without vignetting. Its optical design incorporates 11 elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical lenses and 3 Extra-low Dispersion (ED) lenses that effectively combat chromatic aberrations. Its minimum focusing distance of 0.24m makes it ideal for landscapes and portraits.
On the video side, the lens is also very high-performing. Indeed, it features ultra-fast autofocus control at 240fps, a « Focus-Breathing » suppression mechanism, and micro-step aperture control for smooth exposure changes.
