The DZOFILM X-tract 18-28mm 360° Periscope is an innovative zoom lens designed for audiovisual, film, and advertising professionals. Designed for full-frame with a PL (and EF available from July), this lens combines advanced optical performance with a full 360° image rotation, opening up new creative possibilities.

Thanks to an integrated prism system, the X-tract 360° allows for spectacular visual effects such as barrel roll, Dutch tilt , and inverted view, directly via its rear ring. Although this version exhibits a slight loss of light transmission compared to the 0° and 90° models (due to its prism system), it benefits from high-quality silver coatings ensuring a faithful and bright image.

The X-tract series is based on a common optical structure. This means that the three variants (0°, 90°, and 360°) share the same optical barrel , allowing only the head to be changed depending on the shooting requirements. This modular approach optimizes budget and versatility in production.

The DZOFILM X-tract 18-28mm 360° offers an aperture range of T8 to T45, a minimum focusing distance of 6mm, a maximum magnification of 2.1x at 28mm, and an image circle diameter of 43.2mm. The lens assembly consists of 27 elements in 20 groups, including 7 HRI and 6 ED glass elements for optimized image quality.

With a 30cm adjustable tube and a 55cm arc of movement, this lens is ideal for smooth vertical movements, especially for MOCO effects or complex productions.
