Introducing the Sony Alpha 7S III
The Sony Alpha 7S III is a mirrorless camera that incorporates a new 12.1MP full-frame Exmor R BSI (back-illuminated) sensor. Combined with a dual-core BIONZ XR processor, they give the Sony a7S III exceptional features.
Thus, this camera is capable of recording 4K video up to 120 fps internally, in 4:2:2 10-bit. You benefit from unique image quality thanks to full pixel readout, an All Intra mode up to 600MBP/s and exceptional low-light noise management over a sensitivity range of 80-409,600 ISO, a dynamic range of 15+ stops in S-Log 3 at 640 ISO (S-Log usable from 160 ISO in extended mode).
The Sony a7S III features flexible, faster, and more precise video autofocus. This includes Eye AF and improved Real-Time Touch Tracking. The autofocus system uses 759 phase-detection points across 92% of the frame to keep your subject sharp in all situations.
Designed for professional video workflows, this full-frame hybrid camera features the new XAVC-HS (H.265) codecs, the all intra mode, an HDMI type A (2.1) output for external 16-bit RAW video, the S-Log FX-9 profile, long battery life with the Z battery, and a unique 24-bit digital audio interface with up to 4 channels.
Finally, thanks to its internal image stabilization system (IBIS) of up to 5.5 stops and a new complementary active stabilization mode, the a7S III is ideally designed for use as a handheld camera.
