Introducing the Zacuto Kameleon EVF Pro
The Zacuto Kameleon EVF Pro is a viewfinder with a 1920×1080 resolution that supports up to 4K DCI input via HDMI and up to 1080p60 via SDI (BNC). It features a 10000:1 contrast ratio, supports 3D LUTs, includes a joystick for control, a 4-pin LEMO power input, and four user-customizable buttons. Use the built-in S-Log2, S-Log3, C-Log, and V-Log presets, or import your preferred 3D LUT via the USB Type-C input port. Imaging tools include histogram, red peaking, three levels of edge enhancement peaking, false color, anamorphic compression, and SMPTE color bars.
A self-closing rubber eyecup is also integrated. The Zacuto Kameleon Pro also benefits from Zacuto’s patented anti-fog technology, which keeps your view clear in humid or cold environments. The built-in -1 to +4 diopter adjustment allows for comfortable viewing without glasses, and for even stronger vision correction, four higher diopters are available separately. Other EVF features of the Kameleon Pro include both 1:1 and 4:1 zoom ratios, selectable image lines, a still image, a cooling fan, and audio indicators. Two ARRI-compatible rosettes with 1/4″-20 threads allow you to mount the Kameleon Pro.
