The Sony Alpha 7 IV succeeds the a7 III and becomes the new benchmark for full-frame hybrid cameras and videos thanks to excellent 33MP image quality, 4K 60p video recording and a completely new ergonomics.
The device combines a new back-illuminated Exmor R sensor with an ultra-powerful Bionz XR processor to deliver exceptional image quality, even in low light.
The Sony 7 IV allows you to track your subject precisely and effortlessly while taking the time to frame thanks to the latest AF focusing and real-time subject and eye tracking technologies (human, animal or bird) that it incorporates.
More ergonomic, the camera body features a new 3.69MP electronic viewfinder, a 7.6cm (3″) tilting touchscreen rear screen, and a built-in 5.5-stop, 5-axis image stabilization system (IBIS) for a perfectly stable and comfortable photo and video experience. Seamlessly switch between photos and videos thanks to the new intuitive touchscreen menu, dedicated photo/video/slow-motion and time-lapse mode dials, and dual card slots.
On the video side, the Sony a7 IV lets you record 4K 4:2:2 10-bit internally and includes S-CINETONE/S-LOG 3 picture profiles for a cinematic look and easy post-production. Combined with Real-Time AF technology, the camera flawlessly tracks the subject, even during fast-moving scenes. The camera also boasts unique video features such as focus breathing compensation, a digital audio interface for use with Sony professional microphones, and a heat dissipation mechanism for extended video recording sessions.
Finally, the A7M4 enables live streaming in Full HD 60p (and up to 4K15p) without a capture card, so you can stay connected with your audience. With its USB-C 3.2, ultra-fast Wi-Fi chip, and automatic image backup via Bluetooth, this device is ideal for streaming and allows you to instantly transfer your footage to share with the world.
