The IDX 2x Battery SB-U98/PD + 1x Charger UC-PD2 kit includes two IDX SB-U98/PD batteries and one UC-PD2 two-way charger.
IDX SB-U98 PD Battery
The new SB-U-PD series battery is the latest version of the popular SB-U series. The IDX SB-U98 PD is a lithium-ion battery compatible with Sony BP-U mount cameras, such as the PXW-FX9/6, FS7/FS5, and PXW/PMW series cameras. The new SB-U-PD series improves the accuracy of the remaining battery level indicator on Sony camera viewfinders. The battery features a 14.4V D-Tap output and a USB Type-C PD input/output, allowing for charging with an optional charger. A four-LED gauge indicates the battery’s charge status. The battery’s internal circuitry provides protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and high charging current.

IDX UC-DP2 USB-C Charger
The IDX UC-PD2 USB-C charger is compact and lightweight, offering very fast charging for two batteries via USB-C PD ports. It is compatible with the IDX DUO-CP and SBU-PD battery series. This 65W (max) charger can charge a DUO-C98P or a ZEN-98C in approximately 130 minutes. Like the UC-PD1, the UC-PD2 is also a convenient charger for travel and a power source for other devices, such as tablets, smartphones, or other audiovisual/computer equipment with a USB-PD port.
