ZEISS eXtended Data technology adds new opportunities to simplify and increase the accuracy of image capture and processing workflows. ZEISS eXtended Data unifies two sets: key lens data based on the open/i* Technology standard and supported by a wide range of cameras and accessories, and ZEISS-specific lens data containing precise lens characteristics.

A unique technology that provides real-time information on lens distortion and shading characteristics to accelerate workflow on set and in post-production.
Lens settings are captured digitally on each image, eliminating the need to manually record lens settings for each image.
Documenting lens characteristics enhances creativity by enabling the processing of more complex shots in post-production.
