Introducing the Sony FE 12-24mm F2.8 GMThe Sony FE 12-24mm F2.8 GM is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a bright, constant F2.8 aperture. This makes it ideal for working in challenging lighting conditions and for controlling depth of field to isolate the subject. Its advanced optical design incorporates a range of XA, aspherical, Super ED, and ED elements, which combine to reduce a variety of aberrations and distortions for exceptional sharpness, accurate rendering, and remarkable color accuracy. An updated Nano AR Coating II has also been applied, which suppresses flare and ghosting for improved contrast when working in bright and backlit conditions.To complement the optics, an XD Linear Motor system uses four separate focusing motors to deliver exceptionally quiet, precise, and fast autofocus performance. A floating focus design is also employed, which helps maintain consistent results throughout the entire focusing range, from 28cm to infinity. The lens also features a dust- and moisture-resistant design.
