Introducing the Sigma MC-11 EF to E Adapter:
The Sigma MC-11 EF to E adapter allows you to use your SIGMA SA and SIGMA EOS mount lenses with Sony E-mount cameras.
The market has seen numerous solutions for using lenses designed for one system on a camera with another system. But in the digital age, systems have become increasingly complex, and it is very difficult to design an adapter that ensures mechanical and electronic compatibility between the lens and the camera body. Designing such a converter that allows SLR lenses to work on a mirrorless system is even more challenging. Because today’s market demands more than simply compensating for a mechanical flange focal distance; it requires transmitting all the necessary functionality.
The MC-11 Mount Converter incorporates a control system that ensures fast and smooth autofocus with compatible lenses, as well as the operation of the camera’s operating system and various features that optimize peripheral brightness, correct transverse chromatic aberration, distortion, and more. Furthermore, since Sony E-mount cameras lack a mechanical aperture control, the MC-11 Mount Converter makes Sigma lenses in SIGMA SA and Canon mounts fully compatible with the Sony E-mount camera’s auto-exposure system.

The MC-11 Adapter Ring gives Sony E-system camera users access to a total of 22 interchangeable SIGMA lenses. Thanks to the automatic image size adjustment function, SIGMA DC lenses for APS-C sensors can be used on full-frame cameras without any special adjustments. They can therefore be freely mounted on any camera body.

Fast and quiet autofocus performance.
When the lens is used with a Fast Hybrid AF compatible camera body, AF-S mode ensures extremely fast and smooth focusing. With other cameras, the contrast-detection AF system provides particularly precise focusing. * * Please refer to the table below.

The LED display on the MC-11 adapter ring provides immediate information on lens compatibility and whether the ring’s control system requires an update to be used with that lens.
A comprehensive and powerful data center
, the MC-11 mount converter stores all the data necessary for the proper operation of each compatible lens and uses dedicated control software to optimize autofocus and aperture control. It relays camera functions related to peripheral brightness, lateral chromatic aberration correction, distortion, and more. When a new lens is released, the MC-11 adapter ring’s data system can be updated via a computer.

Note: Updating data requires the latest version of SIGMA Optimization Pro software to be installed on your computer.
Other features:
Compatible with both lens and camera body stabilization systems.
The MC-11 Adapter Ring’s compatibility with the lens’s OS function and the camera’s stabilization system ensures optimal vibration correction. When used on a camera body with mechanical stabilization, the MC-11 Adapter Ring allows you to switch to optical stabilization for even better performance.
Flocked internal coating prevents unwanted reflections.
The inside of the MC-11 Adapter Ring is flocked to prevent unwanted reflections that could degrade image quality.
Exif data is preserved.
Lens type, focal length, aperture (F-stop), and other data are included in the image’s Exif data.
