The 1.25x anamorphic adapter increases the horizontal field of view by 25%. When you screw the SIRUI 1.25x adapter onto a 1.6x anamorphic lens, you achieve 2x compression. Higher compression results in more noticeable anamorphic characteristics, such as finer bokeh and shallower depth of field.
