Introducing the Sony Alpha 7C R (Silver)
The Sony Alpha 7C R (Silver) is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera that largely replicates the technical specifications of the a7R V in a more compact form factor than the a7C range.
It features a 61MP Exmor R BSI image sensor, a dual BIONZ X processor, and a dedicated AI chip, delivering exceptional performance! The ISO range is 100 to 32,000 by default, expandable from 50 to 102,400 (for still photography only). Similarly, the dynamic range is 15 stops.
The camera body features 5-stop image stabilization, with a maximum gain of 7 stops. The Sony a7CR also boasts Pixel Shift Multi Shooting, capturing multiple images in rapid succession to create a single image of up to 240 MP. Its 693-point phase-detection autofocus system covers 79% of the image area, allowing you to easily track a variety of subjects, including people, animals, birds, cars, and more.
Powered by AI, the predictive autofocus, based on deep learning, can recognize human noses, eyes, ears, necks, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. For video, the Sony a7C R can record 4K video at up to 60p or 4K30p video in 4:2:2 10-bit (with oversampling from a 6.2K stream). ProRes RAW 16-bit video output via HDMI and a compatible recorder is also available.
