Introducing the Sony BRC-X400 (Black):
The Sony BRC-X400 (Black) is a versatile PTZ camera, ideal for use in a wide variety of environments. It incorporates a 1/2.5-type Exmor R CMOS sensor that captures broadcast-quality 4K images with excellent sensitivity, very low noise, and accurate color reproduction. It also features a high-resolution lens that offers powerful zoom up to 80x in Full HD and 30x in 4K. This lens has a wide 70-degree angle of view to capture every perspective. Live IP production is enhanced by support for NDI®|HX (optional license), allowing for flexible setup with other networked NDI devices. Images can also be viewed remotely via a web browser, with support for RTSP and RTMP real-time streaming protocols. This ensures smooth and stable streaming over an IP network. Easy to install and configure, the Sony BRC-X400 features a new Scene File function that allows you to apply the same settings to multiple cameras. Multi-camera integration for live events is also simplified thanks to Genlock support and an « on-air » tally light.

The high-sensitivity 1/2.5-type Exmor R sensor captures high-quality 4K images with very low noise levels, even in low light.

Wide viewing angle:
The camera’s integrated lens covers a wide 70° angle, allowing you to cover every corner of your filming location.

Multiple control protocols
The Sony BRC-X400 incorporates PTZ function and other functions that can be remotely controlled via S700PTP, CGI and VISCA protocols.

Easy to install and configure:
A single IP cable provides power to the PTZ camera, video output, and control signals. The new Scene File feature allows you to apply the same settings to multiple cameras for quick setup.

Up to 80x Zoom:
The built-in lens offers 80x zoom in Full HD and 30x in 4K. Highly responsive autofocus ensures clear and sharp images, even at high zoom levels.

NDI®|HX support
NDI®|HX compatibility (optional license) supports Live IP production, allowing flexible configuration with other NDI-enabled networked devices.

Remote viewing:
View images remotely over the Internet from a web browser, with support for RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) and RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) real-time streaming protocols.

Ideal for live production,
the Genlock function allows for easy multi-camera shooting at live events. The integrated tally light is perfect for live productions and reality TV shows.
