Introducing the Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM II OSS
The Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM II OSS is a telephoto lens that succeeds the superb Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM. Lighter than its predecessor (by 435g!), it offers a multitude of improvements. Its new optical design incorporates one XA element, one aspherical element, two extra-low dispersion aspherical elements, two extra-low dispersion elements, and two Super ED elements. This results in even greater sharpness and image quality, with minimal aberrations. This optical design also includes a next-generation Nano AR II coating that reduces flare and ghosting for enhanced contrast and color.
The Sony 70-200 G Master II also incorporates a new XD linear motor (4 motors) for even faster AF, regardless of the camera body, as well as an aperture ring on the barrel.
