Introducing the Sony SRG-A12 (White)
The Sony SRG-A12 (White) is a robotic PTZ camera with automatic framing thanks to integrated AI (artificial intelligence). This allows it to automatically track the subject while maintaining a comfortable view through smooth pan/tilt/zoom control. The need for a dedicated operator is therefore eliminated, representing a cost advantage.
This A40 version benefits from « Clear Image Zoom » technology which increases the maximum magnification to 24x in order to obtain -ups that fill the entire image without reducing the resolution.
The SRG-A12 offers three shooting modes: full-length, waist-up, and -up. For each mode, you can select the center, left, or right viewing angle. The camera will automatically track the subject using the selected optimal position.
A tally light is integrated into the camera. This light illuminates to visually confirm the operating status or to indicate that the PTZ auto-framing mode is active. The light changes color to red during recording and to green when PTZ auto-framing is active.
Ideal for live streaming and webcasts, the SRG A12 lets you stream 4K 30p video directly from the camera with support for the most popular IP protocols. In addition to IP streaming, the camera can also output video via HDMI and SDI for conventional production.
Finally, the camera can be powered via PoE++, even when using the PTZ auto-framing function.
